Give one customer a one-off apology code

Paid versionCommerce

You can make it up to an unhappy customer in the same reply, without opening the back office.

What it replaces: 15-20 min per code

What you write to Claude

„create a one-time €15 code for an unhappy customer, valid 30 days, min order €40”

The problem

A parcel arrived late and the customer is upset. I want to send a €15 code that works once.

What Claude does

  1. Claude prepares a one-time code with the amount, minimum order and 30-day validity.
  2. It shows the code and dates.
  3. After your yes it creates it, then switches it on after a second yes.
  4. It gives you a sentence with the code for your reply.

What you get

A single-use code you can send in your reply to the customer.

You stay in control

You see the code before it's created, it starts switched off and goes live only after a second yes. Codes are never deleted, only switched off. Prices, discounts and stock stay switched off until you turn them on, and unusually large changes need an extra confirmation.

Step by step

  1. Calls ps_manage_cart_rules (action create): €15 off, minimum order €40, valid 30 days from today, total quantity 1 and one use per customer.
  2. Shows the preview with an auto-generated code and the dates.
  3. After your approval, creates the code (inactive), then activates it with action set_active after your second yes.
  4. Gives you a sentence with the code and expiry date for your reply to the customer.

Safety

Commerce (block 2) runs on the daily connector, is off after installation and has its own switch. Claude acts as the connector's PrestaShop employee, so the action must also be allowed in that employee's profile. Every write shows a preview, runs only after your approval (single-use token valid 30 minutes, blocked if the data changed in the back office in the meantime), is logged in the change history and can be undone with ps_revert_change. A new code is created inactive and goes live only after a separate activation. The code is not tied to a customer account; the usage limit of 1 keeps it single-use.
