Make product names consistent for Google Shopping and search
Your products look professional in Google Shopping and are easier to find in your own search.
What it replaces: half a day of renaming
What you write to Claude
„make product names in Work gloves follow one pattern: Brand + model + key feature + size range. no caps lock, no supplier codes”
The problem
Every product name follows a different pattern. Some are in caps, some start with the code. It looks bad in Google Shopping.
What Claude does
- You give Claude the naming pattern you want.
- It proposes a new name for every product in the category.
- You see old and new names side by side and approve.
What you get
Names follow one pattern across the category. Page addresses stay the same unless you change them separately.
You stay in control
You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later.
Related use cases
- Find products without images, EAN or manufacturer
- Write Google titles and descriptions for a whole category

- Tools
- ps_search_products, ps_update_product_content
Step by step
- Lists products with ps_search_products and the manufacturer, reference and features columns.
- Proposes the new name for each product following your pattern, up to 128 characters, without forbidden characters.
- Calls ps_update_product_content with the name field. Shows a preview with the old and new values side by side and waits for your approval.
- After your yes, saves it like the Save button in the back office and logs it in the change history.
Safety
Every write shows a preview first and runs only after you approve it (one-time token, valid 30 minutes). Each change is logged and can be undone with ps_revert_change. Names go to feeds (Google Merchant, price comparison sites), so check the feed after the change.
