Add a site-wide announcement bar
A thin announcement bar on every page, without buying another add-on.
What it replaces: 1 h of developer time, or a paid module
What you write to Claude
„add a thin bar at the very top of every page: 'Free shipping from €60'. dark background, centred, small text”
The problem
I want a thin bar at the top: free shipping from €60. I don't want to buy another module for one line of text.
What Claude does
- Claude reads the top part of your theme.
- It prepares the bar and its colours and shows exactly what changes.
- After your yes it saves with backups and checks the home page.
What you get
Every page shows the announcement bar. To remove it, restore the header backup.
You stay in control
You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later. Changes to the shop's look use a separate, extra-protected connection, usually set up by whoever looks after your shop. Every file is backed up before it changes.

Step by step
- Reads the header template with ps_read_theme_file (for example templates/_partials/header.tpl).
- Prepares the bar markup and a CSS rule in custom.css.
- Calls ps_write_theme_file for both files. Each preview shows the diff.
- After your approval, saves with backups and clears the cache.
- Checks the home page with ps_inspect_page.
Safety
Block 3 works only through the service connector: a separate token accepted only from allowlisted IP addresses, off after installation. Theme files are backed up automatically before every write and can be restored with ps_restore_file_backup. Limit: 20 theme file writes per hour.
