The problem

Over the years we've added categories nobody uses. Some are empty, some have no description at all.

What Claude does

  1. Claude reads your whole category tree with the number of products in each.
  2. It marks empty categories and those without a description or Google title.
  3. It checks doubtful ones in detail.
  4. It proposes a clean-up: merge, switch off or write texts.

What you get

A map of the category tree with problems marked, and a to-do list for the next step (moving products or writing category texts).

You stay in control

Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes.

Step by step

  1. Calls ps_get_category_tree with product counts (direct and in the subtree) and flags for missing description, meta title and meta description.
  2. For a large shop, narrows the tree with root_id branch by branch (300 nodes per call).
  3. Opens doubtful categories with ps_get_category to confirm.
  4. Proposes a clean-up list: merge, deactivate, or write texts.

Safety

Read-only: nothing in the shop changes, so there is no preview or undo step. Works in the free Audit edition and in whole-shop read-only mode.
