Find out which add-on shows a box on the page

Paid versionAppearance & deployments

You know exactly which add-on puts a box on your page and the safest way to change it.

What it replaces: 30-90 min of searching

What you write to Claude

„List modules hooked to displayProductAdditionalInfo and displayReassurance in execution order, then check if the theme overrides any of their templates.”

The problem

There's a weird box under the add-to-cart button and nobody remembers which module puts it there.

What Claude does

  1. Claude lists the add-ons that show content in that place on the page, in display order.
  2. It checks whether your theme already has its own copy of the add-on's layout.
  3. It compares with the live page.
  4. It names the add-on and the safest way to change it.

What you get

You know which add-on and which layout file produce the box, and whether your theme already changes it.

You stay in control

Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes. Changes to the shop's look use a separate, extra-protected connection, usually set up by whoever looks after your shop.

Step by step

  1. Calls ps_list_modules with the hook parameter to get modules in execution order.
  2. Calls ps_list_theme_files with path modules/ to find template overrides already in the theme.
  3. Reads the relevant override or theme template with ps_read_theme_file.
  4. Optionally inspects the live page with ps_inspect_page to match headings and markup.
  5. Names the module and template responsible and the safest way to change it, usually a template override with ps_override_module_template.

Safety

Block 3 works only through the service connector: a separate token accepted only from allowlisted IP addresses, off after installation. Read-only: nothing in the shop changes, so there is no preview or undo step. Listing modules changes nothing; switching modules off or installing them is a separate block 4 (Modules) job with its own preview.
