Check free-shipping thresholds against your average order
You decide on your free-shipping threshold with real numbers instead of a hunch.
What it replaces: 30-60 min across the carrier and statistics screens
What you write to Claude
„list our carriers with price ranges and free shipping thresholds, and compare with our average order value this year”
The problem
Customers say shipping is expensive, and I'm not sure what each carrier charges or from what amount shipping is free.
What Claude does
- Claude reads your carriers, their prices and free-shipping thresholds.
- It works out your average order value for the year.
- It shows how far the average order is from each threshold.
- It suggests options, such as a lower threshold or a free-shipping code.
What you get
One table of shipping costs and thresholds next to your real average order, so you can decide on the threshold with numbers.
You stay in control
Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes. Prices, discounts and stock stay switched off until you turn them on, and unusually large changes need an extra confirmation.

Step by step

- Gets paid orders and gross sales for the year from ps_get_product_sales and works out the average order value.
- Shows how far the average order is from each threshold and which carriers are free, flat or weight-based.
- Suggests options, such as a lower threshold or a free-shipping code (ps_manage_cart_rules) or a new threshold (ps_update_shipping), as separate previewed steps.
Safety
ps_list_carriers only reads; changing the threshold or carrier prices is a separate step with ps_update_shipping. It needs Commerce (block 2) switched on, on the daily connector. Sales data comes without customer data.
