Offer free shipping from a set order amount

Paid versionCommerce

Free shipping from your chosen amount starts working in the checkout, and your shipping page says the same thing.

What it replaces: 30 min in shipping settings, plus updating the page

What you write to Claude

„set free shipping from 60 euro for the whole shop, and update the shipping info page so it says the same”

The problem

I want free shipping from €60 so people add one more item to the cart. I'm not sure where that is set or what it does to each carrier.

What Claude does

  1. Claude shows your current shipping costs and any free-shipping amount already set.
  2. It shows what changes for customers with the new amount.
  3. After your yes it sets the amount for the whole shop.
  4. It updates the shipping information page with the new amount, as a separate step.

What you get

Orders above the amount ship free, and the shipping page shows the new rule.

You stay in control

You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later. Prices, shipping and discounts stay switched off until you turn them on.

Step by step

  1. Reads carriers, ranges and current thresholds with ps_list_carriers.
  2. Calls ps_update_shipping (action set_free_shipping: free_price = gross cart value; free_weight optional; 0 switches a threshold off), with preview.
  3. After approval saves it like Shipping > Preferences; undo with ps_revert_change.
  4. Updates the shipping CMS page with ps_update_cms_page, with its own preview.
  5. For a time-limited offer instead, a free-shipping cart rule with dates via ps_manage_cart_rules.

Safety

Commerce (block 2) runs on the daily connector, is off after installation and has its own switch. Claude acts as the connector's PrestaShop employee, so the action must also be allowed in that employee's profile. Every write shows a preview, runs only after your approval (single-use token valid 30 minutes, blocked if the data changed in the back office in the meantime), is logged in the change history and can be undone with ps_revert_change. The threshold is a shop-wide setting based on the gross cart value and has no end date.
