Round prices to .99 after a price update
Your prices look clean again after a percentage increase, with tax calculated correctly.
What it replaces: 2 h of manual price edits
What you write to Claude
„round gross prices in Work gloves to the nearest x9.99 or x4.99, never down by more than €1. show me the table first”
The problem
After the percentage increase all prices look like €47.43. I want them to end in .99.
What Claude does
- Claude lists the gross prices in the category.
- It rounds them by your rule.
- You see old and new prices, gross and net, and approve.
What you get
Clean gross prices in the category, computed from the right tax rule.
You stay in control
You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later. Prices, discounts and stock stay switched off until you turn them on, and unusually large changes need an extra confirmation.

Step by step
- Lists products and gross prices in the category with ps_search_products.
- Calculates the rounded gross prices by your rule and calls ps_update_prices with gross prices, without confirm.
- Shows the preview: old and new gross and net price for each product, net computed from the product's tax rule.
- After your approval, saves the prices and gives you the operation ID for ps_revert_change.
Safety
Commerce (block 2) runs on the daily connector, is off after installation and has its own switch. Claude acts as the connector's PrestaShop employee, so the action must also be allowed in that employee's profile. Every write shows a preview, runs only after your approval (single-use token valid 30 minutes, blocked if the data changed in the back office in the meantime), is logged in the change history and can be undone with ps_revert_change. A price of 0 can't be set, and a change above 30% needs your explicit allow. Rounding never comes close to that, so a warning here usually means a wrong product in the list.
