Report products that haven't sold in 12 months
You see which products never sell, so you can clear the clutter from your categories.
What it replaces: 1-2 h of writing and checking database queries
What you write to Claude
„list active products with stock that haven't been in any paid order since 2025-10-01. reference, name, category, stock, date added”
The problem
We have 3,000 products and I suspect a third never sell. They clutter categories and nobody wants to check by hand.
What Claude does
- Claude checks the shop's sales records for products without sales in 12 months.
- It shows you how it will search before running it; nothing changes.
- It gives you the list and suggests next steps, such as hiding products or moving them to an outlet, each with its own approval.
What you get
A list of dead stock you can act on. The report itself changes nothing.
You stay in control
Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes. This deep access uses the separate, extra-protected connection and works only for the few hours you switch it on.

- ps_db_query, ps_get_product_sales, ps_set_product_redirect, ps_set_product_categories
Step by step
- Works while service mode is switched on (time-limited); checks that first.
- Order tables count as customer data in TellMyShop, so the query needs the owner's customer-data level set to pseudonymised (or full). With pseudonymisation the result list may contain only plain columns and COUNT/SUM/AVG, which is enough here. With customer data off, Claude falls back to comparing ps_get_product_sales with the product list.
- Writes one read-only SELECT on product, stock_available, order_detail and orders (valid states, date filter), shows it, then runs it with ps_db_query (max 200 rows per call, paged).
- Suggests next steps as separate previewed block 1 actions: switch off with a redirect (ps_set_product_redirect) or move to an outlet category (ps_set_product_categories).
Safety
Service mode (block 5) works only through the service connector (separate token, allowlisted IP addresses) and only while its time-limited switch is on (1, 4, 8 or 24 h); then it switches itself off, and the owner gets an e-mail when it is switched on. ps_db_query runs one statement in a read-only transaction and returns at most 200 rows, with e-mails, phones and IPs masked. Staff, permission, configuration and connector tables are blocked. Tables with customer personal data (orders, addresses, carts and similar, detected by their columns, also in third-party modules) follow the customer-data level set by the owner: off (blocked), pseudonymised (personal columns masked; only plain columns and COUNT/SUM/AVG, no aliases, functions, UNION or WITH) or full for 1-24 h with a stated purpose.
