Step by step
- Calls ps_list_changes for the date and category to find the operation ID of the batch.
- Calls ps_revert_change with operation_id without confirm. The preview shows the values to restore and flags fields edited later by someone else.
- After your approval, restores the previous values.
- Lists the reverted changes so you can confirm.
Safety
Revert itself needs preview and approval. If someone edited the same field later in the back office, the preview says so, and reverting overwrites that later edit. Theme files are restored with ps_restore_file_backup on the service connector, URLs with a new URL change.
