Library of 60 prompts
Ready-made jobs walk Claude through big pieces of work, such as descriptions for a whole category or Black Friday. This library covers everything in between: one fix, a question about sales, a change to the look of your store, an error in the logs. The prompts don't repeat the 14 ready-made jobs. They fill the gaps around them.
How to use it
- Open a new chat in Claude with your store or site switched on (the TellMyShop connector).
- Copy a prompt and swap the example names, such as "Garden lighting" or "Oslo sofa", for your own.
- Claude reads your store first. Before it changes anything, it shows a preview: the current version next to the new one. It saves only what you approve.
- Most changes can be undone with one message, for example "undo the last change". Claude takes the old version from the change history.
Works with a free Claude account too. Write prompts your own way, short and with typos. Claude asks if something is missing.
Labels
- [PS] works in PrestaShop.
- [WP] works in WordPress. Prompts about products, prices and orders need WooCommerce.
- [PS & WP] works on both platforms.
- [Audit] works fully in the free TellMyShop Audit, because Claude only reads. Prompts without this label end with a "now → after" plan in the Audit. Claude saves nothing. You can save those fixes in the same chat once you buy a licence.
In the paid version the module starts in read-only mode. To let Claude save changes, turn read-only mode off in the module or plugin panel. Some groups also need a separate block switched on. We say so at the group.

Products and descriptions
- "Write a new description for the Sora lantern. Keep the dimensions and material, and add a short paragraph on where it looks best."
A new description for one product in a preview, next to the current one. [PS & WP] - "Find products with no short description and show them in a table with their category."
A list of gaps to fill, sorted by category. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Some product names say lanturn instead of lantern. Find them and fix them."
Every name with the typo and its corrected version, approved in one go. [PS & WP] - "Make the names in Work gloves consistent: brand, model, main feature, sizes. No capitals and no supplier codes."
Consistent names across the category, easier to read in the store and in Google Shopping. [PS & WP] - "Copy the Oslo sofa as Oslo sofa green velvet, without photos. Rewrite the description for velvet and leave the product switched off."
A new product based on an existing one, hidden from customers until you check it. [PS & WP] - "Check the Oslo sofa and tell me what's missing on its page: descriptions, photos, photo descriptions, EAN, features, title and description in Google."
A list of what one product is missing, most important first. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "We're discontinuing the Sora lantern. Switch it off and send people from the old address to the Sora 2 lantern, or to Lanterns if there's no newer model."
The product leaves the store, and customers and Google land in the right place instead of an error page. [PS & WP] - "Add this sentence at the end of every product description in Work gloves: Every parcel is packed in recycled paper. Leave the rest of the description as it is."
The same sentence in many descriptions, with a preview of each change. [PS & WP]
Google and SEO
- "Which products and categories have the same title or description in Google? Group them by what they share."
Groups of duplicates that make it harder for Google to pick the right page. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Google stopped showing the price and stars for our sofas. Check the product data on the Oslo sofa page and in the Sofas category."
A check of the data Google reads: duplicates, errors and missing fields, with a fix. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Check that the English and German versions of the home page and the Garden lighting category point to each other correctly."
For each page: the response code, redirects, canonical address and the links between language versions. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Change the address of the Oslo sofa page to oslo-sofa-linen-grey and make sure the old address redirects to the new one."
A new address and a redirect from the old one, so you keep your traffic from Google. [PS & WP] - "Write titles and descriptions for Google for the Delivery, Returns and About us pages. Don't touch the terms or the privacy policy."
Titles and descriptions for your information pages in a preview, with legal texts left alone. [PS & WP] - "Redirect the old address /lanterns-2023 to the Lanterns category."
One redirect, set after you approve it. [PS & WP] - "Show the redirects Claude added and mark the ones nobody has used for 3 months."
A list of redirects with the number of uses and the last use, to review or switch off. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Which information pages are hidden from Google? Tell me if any of them should be visible."
Pages hidden from search engines, and whether that looks intended. [PS & WP] [Audit]
Categories and navigation
- "Move all products from Lighting to Garden lighting, keep them in Sale as well, and make Garden lighting their default category."
Products in their new place, and in the preview a list of addresses that change along the way. [PS] - "Find products whose default category is Sale and give them their proper default category."
Correct paths in the menu and in product addresses after the sale ends. [PS] - "Show categories with no products and categories with only 1 or 2 products."
A list of categories to merge, fill or hide. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Create a Metal lanterns subcategory in Lanterns and move the metal lanterns into it."
A new subcategory with products picked from their descriptions and features. In PrestaShop it starts switched off until you turn it on. [PS & WP] - "Move the Lanterns category under Garden lighting."
The category's new place in the tree and in the menu, with a preview before saving. [PS & WP] - "Add a link to the Lanterns category to the main menu, right after Sofas."
A new menu item in the right place. [WP] - "Show me the main menu and the footer menu, and check whether any item leads to a deleted or empty page."
The menu tree with the items to fix marked. [WP] [Audit]
Photos
- "Add photo descriptions for Google to the products in Lanterns, only where they're missing. Product name, colour and view."
Photo descriptions for Google and screen readers, without overwriting the ones you already have. [PS] - "On the Oslo sofa, make the side view the main photo and move the white-background photos to the end."
A new photo order for one product. [PS & WP] - "Add these 3 photos from the links to the Sora lantern and make the first one the main photo."
Photos in the product gallery, with a description for Google set straight away. [PS & WP] - "Which active products have no photo at all?"
A list of products to photograph or hide, with category and price. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Find blog posts with no featured image and suggest an image from the media library for each one."
Images for post lists and social shares, approved one by one. [WP] - "Show images in the media library that aren't attached to any post, page or product."
A list of files to review before you tidy the library. [WP] [Audit]
Sales and customers
Sales statistics contain no customer data. Prompts about messages and orders need customer data access switched on (Customer data (GDPR) card, masked or full). Claude then prepares drafts and notes only. A person from your team sends the reply to the customer.
- "Compare sales in Lanterns in September and August. What dropped the most?"
The products with the biggest change in units and revenue, net and gross. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Which 20 products earned the most in the last 90 days, and which of them have a weak description or no title in Google?"
Best sellers to start your fixes with, because every change lands on products that already sell. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "What sold best last November? I want to know what to prepare for this season."
Last year's seasonal hits to check before you order stock. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Which of last month's top 20 products have fewer than 5 in stock?"
Best sellers at risk of running out. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Show the carriers with their prices and the free-shipping threshold, and compare the threshold with the prices of our 20 best sellers."
A view on whether the threshold nudges people to add one more item. Needs the Commerce block switched on. [PS & WP] - "Go through open customer messages, draft replies based on our Delivery and Returns pages, and tell me which ones need me personally."
Drafts saved as private notes in the threads. The customer gets nothing until someone on your team sends a reply from the back office. [PS] - "A customer is asking about order 1043. Check what was ordered, the status, and whether this customer has ordered from us before."
An order summary for your reply and, if you ask, a private note on the order. [WP]
Prices, codes and shipping
Every prompt in this group needs the Commerce block switched on. The block is in the paid version only and is off after install. Full promotions, Black Friday and cleaning up after a sale are ready-made jobs.
- "Raise prices in Work gloves by 6% net. Show the old and new price of every product first."
A before-and-after price table, saved only after you approve it. [PS & WP] - "Round the gross prices in Lanterns to end in .99, never more than 1 down."
Tidy prices across the category, with a preview of every change. [PS & WP] - "Make a one-time €15 code for a customer whose parcel arrived damaged: valid for 30 days, on orders from €50."
A code ready to send, limited to one use. [PS & WP] - "List the active discount codes and promotions. Mark the ones with no end date and the ones above 30% off."
An overview of discounts, with a warning on the ones that might cost you too much. [PS & WP] - "Set free shipping from €60 and update the Delivery page so it says the same."
A new threshold in the cart and the same amount on your information page. [PS & WP] - "Here's my stocktake (code; quantity). Show the differences between the store and the count first, then set the stock."
A table of differences, and after you approve it, stock that matches your count, including sizes and colours. [PS & WP] - "The Storm jacket in XXL should cost €5 more than the other sizes. Set this for every colour."
The new price on every XXL variant, shown before saving. [PS & WP]
Appearance and theme
These prompts need the Appearance & deployments block in the Technical work card and a second, service connection to Claude. Claude backs up every file before it changes it.
- "Change the Add to cart button to our green #2E7D32, with white text and slightly darker on hover."
A new button look, saved where a theme update won't overwrite it. [PS & WP] - "Add a thin bar at the very top of every page that says: Free delivery over €60. Dark background, small centred text."
A message across the whole site, with a preview of the file changes. [PS & WP] - "On phones, hide the guarantees block under the buy button and make the product title smaller."
A fix for small screens only. Desktop stays as it is. [PS & WP] - "Move the best sellers block on the home page right below the slider. Show me the current order first."
The current and new order of home page blocks, for you to approve. [PS] - "Change the text in the footer newsletter box to: One email a month with what's new. Do it so it survives a module update."
New text in a copy of the module template inside your theme, so a module update won't erase it. [PS] - "Change the heading font to something rounder and set our green #2E7D32 as the main colour in the theme styles."
New style settings for the whole site, in a block theme. [WP] - "Before we change the look, set up a child theme so a theme update won't erase our changes."
A safe place for design changes that survive theme updates. You switch the new theme on in the panel when you're ready. [PS & WP]
Housekeeping, errors and logs
- "Pull the errors from the last 7 days out of the log, group them by message and tell me which module or plugin they come from."
A short list of repeating errors, with the likely source and a hint on what to do next. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "Next week I want to update the store and a few modules or plugins. Check first that everything is fine and what might surprise me."
A technical check before the update: warnings, module or plugin versions, and anything that could cause trouble. [PS & WP] [Audit] - "What did Claude change in the store this week? Show the item, the field, before and after."
The change history in a readable table, ready for a report to your boss or client. [PS & WP] - "Undo yesterday's description changes in Sofas, all of them."
A preview of the versions being restored, and the store back to how it was after you approve. [PS & WP] - "I can't see my changes on the site. Clear the cache."
The store shows the current content and look. Needs the Appearance & deployments block. [PS & WP] - "The cart has been broken since this morning. Find the module or plugin causing it and switch it off without uninstalling. Then check that the cart works."
The likely cause from the logs, and the module switched off with its data and settings kept. Needs the Modules or Plugins block. [PS & WP]
Pages, blog and comments
- "Make a shoe size chart page: how to measure your foot, a table in EU, UK and cm, and a few short questions and answers. Keep it hidden until I've seen it."
A new information page as a draft, ready for you to check. [PS & WP] - "Update the Delivery page: DPD €4.99, parcel lockers €3.99, free delivery over €60. Leave the rest and add a short table."
New delivery prices on the page, with a preview of the changed paragraphs. [PS & WP] - "Show comments waiting for approval and mark the ones that look like spam."
A moderation queue with a verdict on each comment. Author details are masked. [WP] [Audit] - "Under the lantern post, answer Anna's question about replacing the candle. Thank her and add a link to the Lanterns category."
A public reply signed by the site owner, published after you approve it. [WP]
Can't find what you need?
Tell Claude in your own words what you need. Bigger jobs, such as descriptions for a whole category, 404 errors, translation or Black Friday, are in the ready-made jobs.
