The look of your store, with a copy of every file

Small design changes usually mean a message to your developer and a wait. Claude can change texts and layout in your store's theme when you ask, and it saves a copy of every file before touching it. If you don't like the result, one sentence brings the old version back.

Example preview: hiding the newsletter checkbox in the footer is saved as a template override in the theme, so a module update keeps it.

Claude also sets up your changes so that a theme or module update doesn't wipe them out.

Because every visitor sees these changes, this step is off after installation and uses a separate, more restricted connection to Claude.

  • Move the trust badges on the product page above the Add to cart button.
  • That looks wrong on mobile. Put the old version back.
For your developer

Block 3 "Theme and deployment", available only through the separate service connector, which requires an IP allowlist (default: Anthropic's range 160.79.104.0/21). Includes child-theme creation, module template overrides in the theme and hook positions.
