Understand the error messages after an add-on update

Works in the free TellMyShop AuditContent & SEO

You understand what went wrong after an update without reading technical logs yourself.

What it replaces: 1 h of digging through Advanced Parameters > Logs

What you write to Claude

„Pull errors and major entries from the PrestaShop log since 2026-10-01, group them by message and tell me which module they point to.”

The problem

Since yesterday's module update the checkout feels off and I see errors in the back office. I can't read those logs.

What Claude does

  1. Claude reads the shop's error messages for the dates you give.
  2. It groups repeated errors and counts them.
  3. It matches them with the add-ons you have installed.
  4. It explains each group and suggests the next step, for example rolling back the add-on.

What you get

A short, grouped error summary with the likely culprit module. Emails and phone numbers in log messages are masked.

You stay in control

Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes.

Step by step

  1. Calls ps_get_logs with severity error, the date range and an optional text filter.
  2. Groups repeated messages and counts them, with first and last occurrence.
  3. Matches class and module names in the messages against ps_list_modules (versions, active state).
  4. Runs ps_check_shop_health to see if debug mode, cache or route overrides play a part.
  5. Explains each error group in plain words and suggests the next step: roll back the module, clear cache, or a code fix for a developer.

Safety

Read-only: nothing in the shop changes, so there is no preview or undo step. Works in the free Audit edition and in whole-shop read-only mode.
