Check shop health before an update
Works in the free TellMyShop AuditContent & SEO
You go into an update knowing what was already broken, so you don't blame the update for old problems.
What it replaces: 1-2 h of developer pre-update checks
What you write to Claude
„I'm planning to update PrestaShop and a couple of modules next week. Check if everything is OK first and tell me what could bite me.”
The problem
Every time we update something, something else breaks. I want to know what state the shop is in before I touch it.
What Claude does
- Claude reads your PrestaShop version, add-ons and recent errors.
- It runs a health check: safety settings, error mode, recent errors, add-ons that may clash.
- It explains each problem in plain words.
- It gives you a short checklist to sort out before you update.
What you get
A baseline report (pass / warning / fail) you can compare with after the update, plus a list of things to fix before you start.
You stay in control
Claude only reads. Nothing in your shop changes.
Related use cases
- Understand the error messages after an add-on update
- Check your add-on customisations before updating the add-on

- Calls ps_get_shop_info for versions of PrestaShop and PHP, active theme and warnings.
- Runs ps_check_shop_health: debug and maintenance mode, SSL, canonical redirect, Smarty cache and CCC, errors from the last 7 days, modules overriding URL routes, modules hooked into product saves, var/ directory protection.
- Pulls error details from ps_get_logs for anything marked as a problem.
- Lists modules with ps_list_modules so you can note versions before the update.
- Returns a short pre-update checklist with the issues to solve first.
Safety
Read-only: nothing in the shop changes, so there is no preview or undo step. Works in the free Audit edition and in whole-shop read-only mode.
