Update wholesale prices from a supplier price list
Your margin figures are right again, and you see which products lost margin before you change selling prices.
What it replaces: 1-3 h of editing purchase prices
What you write to Claude
„update wholesale prices from this list (reference; net purchase price). don't touch selling prices. show margin before and after”
The problem
The supplier sent a new price list. Our purchase prices in the shop are a year old, so the margin reports are wrong.
What Claude does
- You paste the supplier's list: product code and purchase price.
- Claude matches the products and shows old and new purchase prices with the margin.
- It flags products where you would now sell below cost.
- After your yes it saves only the purchase prices.
What you get
Purchase prices match the supplier's list, and you see which products lost margin before deciding on selling prices.
You stay in control
You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later. Prices, discounts and stock stay switched off until you turn them on, and unusually large changes need an extra confirmation.

Safety
Commerce (block 2) runs on the daily connector, is off after installation and has its own switch. Claude acts as the connector's PrestaShop employee, so the action must also be allowed in that employee's profile. Every write shows a preview, runs only after your approval (single-use token valid 30 minutes, blocked if the data changed in the back office in the meantime), is logged in the change history and can be undone with ps_revert_change. Selling prices stay as they are unless you ask for a separate change.
