Connect your site to Claude

In your dashboard open TellMyShop > Start. The Getting started in 5 steps list takes you through it in order and ticks off each step you finish.

1. An account for Claude. The plugin creates a separate account, "Claude (TellMyShop)", on its own. Nobody can log in to it, and Claude works through it only within the scope you set. There's nothing to click here.
2. Connector address. Click Create the connector address, then Copy. You'll see the full address only once, so keep it somewhere safe, such as a password manager. Treat it like a password. You'll paste it in step 5.
3. Scope of work. Leave it as it is for now. Claude only reads your site. You'll switch on saving changes later.
4. Switch on and check. Click Switch the connector on, then Check the connection. All points should be green. If one is red, there's a hint under it on what to do.
5. Add it in Claude and start. On claude.ai open Settings > Connectors and click Add custom connector. For the name, enter your site's name. For the address, paste the one from step 2, then save. A free Claude account works too. Then start a new chat and write:

Review my site and tell me what to fix first.

The first time Claude connects to your site, the Start tab shows "Done" and a list of ready-made jobs. A connector you add on claude.ai also works in the Claude apps on your computer and phone, on the same account.

Lost the address?

Click Generate a new address. The old one stops working straight away, so remove the old connector in Claude and add the new address.
