Add delivery and returns info under the price

Paid versionAppearance & deployments

Customers see delivery and returns info right under the price, so fewer of them ask.

What it replaces: 1-2 h of developer time

What you write to Claude

„Add a small block under the price on product pages: 'Ships in 24 h · Free returns within 30 days', translatable, styled with a class in custom.css.”

The problem

Customers keep asking about delivery time. I want a short line under the price: ships in 24h, 30-day returns.

What Claude does

  1. Claude finds the part of the theme that shows the price.
  2. It prepares a short line under it and shows exactly what changes.
  3. After your yes it saves, after backing up the file, and refreshes the shop's look.

What you get

Every product page shows the delivery and returns line under the price.

You stay in control

You see every change before it is saved, nothing happens without your yes, and you can undo it later. Changes to the shop's look use a separate, extra-protected connection, usually set up by whoever looks after your shop. Every file is backed up before it changes.

Step by step

  1. Finds the right template (templates/catalog/product.tpl or a partial) with ps_list_theme_files and ps_read_theme_file.
  2. Prepares a search-and-replace edit that inserts the block with translatable strings.
  3. Calls ps_write_theme_file. Smarty is validated (allowed tags and modifiers, compilation) before saving; the preview shows the diff.
  4. After your approval, saves with an automatic backup, adds the CSS rule the same way and clears the cache.

Safety

Block 3 works only through the service connector: a separate token accepted only from allowlisted IP addresses, off after installation. Theme files are backed up automatically before every write and can be restored with ps_restore_file_backup. Limit: 20 theme file writes per hour.
