Licence key

This step is for the full version of TellMyShop. In the free Audit you skip it.

1. Copy your key. You'll find it in the email you got after buying and in your TellMyShop account. It starts with TMS-.
2. In your dashboard open TellMyShop > Start. The Licence card is at the top.
3. Paste the key into the Licence key field and click Activate the licence.

When it works, the card shows Status: active, your site's domain and the Updates until date. The What Claude can do line changes to "read the site and make changes with a preview and your consent".

Good to know

• Without a key, the full version works like the Audit. Claude reads your site and prepares a plan, but saves nothing.
• Test copies are free. Test addresses (e.g. localhost, .test, staging.) don't use up your licence. The card then shows "test domain, does not use the licence limit".
• Moving your site to another domain? Click Release this domain, then activate the key on the new site. Until you activate it again, Claude can only read.
• Something doesn't add up? Click Check the licence now. The most common messages are explained on When something doesn't work.
